Youth Programs. Summer Camps 2. UCLA Recreation 2. Youth Programs offers a wide variety of summer camps for children in grades K–1. Located at UCLA, the camps emphasize each child's needs and personal development within a group setting. Activities for younger children feature cooperative play and include indoor/outdoor games, arts and crafts, swimming, and field trips. For elementary children, camps focus on areas of interest: science, sports, acting, creative thinking, performance, and arts and crafts. Programming Summer Camp for teens at UCLA. Intensive, 2-week pre-college program. Java, C++, iOS, Xcode, Android, Minecraft, Robotics. Women in Engineering Stayover Program Saturday, April 16 - Sunday, April 17. Note: This event is for admitted students only. Family members of students will have to make other arrangements to stay overnight. The UCLA World Arts and Cultures/Dance Department's Dance/Performing Arts Summer Institutes is an award-winning, unique, nine-day program for advanced high school students that integrates the disciplines of dance, choreography. UCLA Arts Tours are held on most Fridays at 1:00 p.m. The tour is guided by a UCLA Arts representative and will include information on admission, audition/portfolio requirements. Secondary school students can enjoy week- long programs in surfing, sailing, and rock climbing, as well as educational exploration in our adventure.
